Our black routes are designed for long-distance enthusiasts and e-bike riders in touring mode with bikes adapted to alpine and gravel roads.
Leaving the Rhône bend, riding along the plain and the river, and reaching the iconic Zermatt are the highlights of this alpine journey.

From the Rhône plain towards Upper Valais, few options are available:
You can follow the river on a direct route, or ride through beautiful side valleys, passing vineyards or exploring mid-mountain slopes. For more elevation, a detour through the authentic Turtmann Valley is a recommended sporting option.
Some sections include gravel roads for a more peaceful ride. The final kilometers between Täsch and Zermatt allow you to admire exceptional nature. The ultimate reward: the view of the Matterhorn.
